The non-linear career

There are so many career options open to you as a lawyer, and many ways to get there. This diagram is just a snapshot of some of them to get you thinking. Pivots can be anywhere and at anytime too, so you never need to feel trapped in one career if it doesn’t float your boat.

And for those non-law roles - try anything from legal technology, legal writing, journalism, or being a start up founder, project manager, contract manager, management consultant, investment banker, politician, or in PR and communications, right through to comedy (a la the Chaser boys) or acting (think Ms Rebel Wilson).
