Who are we?

We believe that law students and lawyers deserve support and confidence from day one to be the best they can be, and to actually enjoy studying and practising law. We want to help you navigate the craziness and push through the BS and stress. We've learned a lot through our time in the legal profession and we want to open the lid on some of the secrets, hacks and tricks to not just survive in law, but thrive.

We know what its like to be there on that scary first day of law school - being that fresh faced competitive, perfectionist, type A personality who always wants to do well. But suddenly, we might not be top of the class like we were at school. What the hell is that lecturer even talking about? I don't know Latin! Why am I not getting a HD?

We also know what its like to be a fresh faced graduate out there in the real world, trying to navigate billable hours, client functions and the ever-present question of what we are supposed to be when we 'grow up'.

We hear you.

And we can help. We promise you that there are some fabulous ways to study smarter, not harder. And there are dream jobs out there with your name on it.

We are your learned friends and colleagues throughout it all - from your studies to career.

About the founder

I am so passionate about this. Coming from a family of teachers, this is the stuff I love and I feel I was born to do... and I reckon that I have some unique insights to share. My combination of rare legal experiences since graduating in 2011 has allowed me to create a bit of a ‘one-woman panel’ resume. I have learned from the best advocates and judges in the country as a Federal Court Judge’s Associate (2012), advised on commercial and IP matters at top tier law firm King & Wood Mallesons (2013-2015), represented asylum seekers in a challenging legal environment at community legal centre RACS (2014 secondment), and broadened my legal skill base at my current role as in-house Legal Counsel at ASX top 100 listed company Coca-Cola Amatil (since 2015). I’ve developed a practice spanning from corporate & commercial law, to IP, competition & consumer law, dispute resolution and pretty much everything in between – and clearly I love learning and new challenges! In 2016 I was awarded the Lawyers Weekly 30 Under 30 Corporate Counsel award, and was a finalist in the 2016 In-House Team of the Year Awards, 2018 Women in Law Awards, and 2019 FMCG Team of the Year Awards. I balance my career with my other passions and creative outlets. I am a trained dancer, and have studied at Sydney Dance Company and Broadway Dance Centre in New York City. I am also a girl from Newcastle, NRL fan, gym junkie and wine-lover.
